Upcoming E-Fest to provide opportunities for engineering students

Engineering students will get a chance to showcase their technical skills and project ideas at a festival coming to Michigan State in early April. The American Society of Mechanical Engineers, or ASME, typically holds festivals - called E-Fests - that offer networking opportunities to engineering students. ASME wanted a festival venue central to the U.S., so organizers settled on holding E-Fest North at the Breslin Center in East Lansing.
Matthew Belknap, the chairperson for ASME at MSU, said planning the festival had been in the works for over a year. To my knowledge, ASME International picked that location because it was kind of centrally located in the Midwest region and there's a lot of really good schools around here, Belknap, a mechanical engineering senior, said.
