Missouri S&T the right place for future engineer Sanders

Jacob Sanders wants to be an engineer, so picking Missouri University of Science & Technology was an easy choice. Adding in the chance to continue his football career made it a no-brainer for the Ozark High School senior. He has signed a letter of intent to play on the offensive line for the Miners.
“I want to be an engineer and it’s a big engineering school,” Sanders said. “I went to a camp up there and really liked the coaching staff and just the whole atmosphere of Rolla was really cool.”
“My first choice was S&T,” Sanders said. “I signed up for recruiting apps, but I went to a summer camp there and once they called me about a scholarship, I was like, well, that’s done. I want to go there.”
Missouri S&T competes at the NCAA Division II level, in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Miners, coached by Tyler Fenwick, were 7-4 last season, with a five-game winning streak midseason.
