Boxlight Acquires Modern Robotics for Undisclosed Amount

Educational technology specialist Boxlight ( BOXL ) said Thursday it acquired Modern Robotics, an education company with programming and robotics solutions, for an undisclosed amount. Boxlight said in a statement that it expects to generate more than $2 million in robotics and programming revenue at gross profit margins of over 50% in the next 12 months. Separately, the company said in a regulatory filing that it asked to withdraw a registration statement for the offering of securities with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
