Anki's new Pixar-inspired robot Vector is the future of home robotics

Ever wanted a cute robot to sit on your desk and keep you company whilst you’re working? How about on a counter-top when you’re cooking dinner? Meet Vector.
The new robot, developed by consumer robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) company Anki, is as smart as it is cute. Whilst ex-film animators from Pixar and DreamWorks have designed his exterior and personality, top roboticists from the likes of Carnegie Mellon have developed his brain.
Boris Sofman, CEO, and co-founder at Anki said; “For more than five years, Anki has brought together a team of experts to create the world’s first affordable, character-rich robot capable of surprising and delighting people.
