The UK Building Regulations and Fire Safety Conference and Exhibition

The UK Building Conference
The tragic Grenfell Tower fire highlighted the importance of making building regulations and fire safety national priorities. The Government has since taken significant steps towards creating more robust and thorough regulations to improve building control procedures and fire safety standards. The Fire Safety Act 2021 has closed loopholes overlooked in the 2005 Regulatory Reform Order, clarifying regulations and compliance procedures. The Building Safety Act 2022 also reflects similar concerns, establishing standards intended to create lasting generational change to the way residential buildings are constructed and maintained.
