Many construction jobsites contain areas that are considered confined spaces. Annually, over 2 workers enter permit confined spaces and get injured, many of which are present on construction site. Examples of common, yet potentially dangerous confined spaces that present physical and atmospheric hazards are tanks, vessels, silos, storage bins, hoppers, vaults, pits, manholes, tunnels, equipment housings, ductwork, pipelines, etc.
