JDM Technology Group, a leading global software business of best-in-class software providers, has acquired Croydon, Australia based PowerCad Software. PowerCad makes innovative electrical engineering design software for the Australian electrical industry. The transaction closed on Friday, 30 June, 2023 with approval from owners Adrian and Lorraine Newman.
Established in 1991 by Adrian and Lorraine Newman, PowerCad provides electrical engineering design software and services that are second to none for the Australian industry. Offering a range of products, PowerCad’s innovative, robust software helps building contractors, engineers, and manufacturers design integrated electrical systems in less time so they can increase profitability and grow their business.
In a statement on the transaction, PowerCad owner Adrian Newman said, “Our business was built on relationships and a desire to help our customers. Selling to a family business that is focused on long term growth and prioritizes its people felt like the right decision.”
