Bridgit Bench is now integrated with BIM 360® and BuildingConnected®. Customers can add and edit a project in Bridgit Bench from BIM 360 or BuildingConnected, log in to Bridgit Bench with their BIM 360 credentials, and open Bridgit Bench in a BIM 360 Partner Card. BIM 360 and BuildingConnected are part of Autodesk Construction Cloud™, a portfolio of software and services that combines advanced technology, a builders network, and predictive insights. The connections between Bridgit Bench and both BIM 360 and BuildingConnected are powered by Autodesk Construction Cloud Connect. Integrating project data between Bridgit Bench and BIM 360 or BuildingConnected and accessing Bridgit Bench using BIM 360 credentials reduces double entry for users, minimizes potential discrepancy errors, and breaks down silos between the systems, giving customers the ability to enhance resource management during preconstruction and site construction.

the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, announced it has been selected to serve as General Engineering Consultant (GEC) by the City of Richardson, Texas to augment city staff and provide program management services for the city’s Capital Improvement Program, including the recently approved 2021 Bond Program. This contract will focus on identifying opportunities that enhance efficiency, minimize public disruption, and reduce costs on citywide projects.

The City of Richardson’s Capital Improvement Program includes projects totaling nearly $400 million to be delivered over the next five to seven years. These projects are focused on repairs and improvements to streets, public buildings, sidewalks, drainage, and parks. AECOM will provide program coordination, management, and delivery services related to engineering, design, construction, sequencing, community engagement, real estate, and performance monitoring.

Projects slated for the program include replacements for high-need residential and commercial streets; enhancements to the city’s traffic signal system; renovations to the public library, City Hall, Fire Station No. 5, and Animal Shelter; improvements to sidewalk accessibility; and upgrades to aging drainage, water, and sanitary infrastructure including an expansion of the Northside Pump Station.
