Altair to Offer HPC Cloud Offerings on Oracle Cloud Platform

Altair today announced a business collaboration with Oracle to build and offer High Performance Computing (HPC) solutions on the Oracle Cloud Platform. This follows Oracle’s decision to name Altair’s PBS Works as its preferred workload management solution for Oracle Cloud customers. Altair PBS Works running on the Oracle Cloud Platform offers independent software vendors (ISVs) faster time to market on a proven HPC platform to address markets such as Oil & Gas, Insurance Information Processing and the internet of things (IoT).
